• Enquiry and quotation details — your contact and company details, the items on your enquiry list, and your enquiry history.
• Quotation requests — company name, contact person and the details you give us when asking for a quotation.
• Enquiries — whatever you send us through the contact form, by email or by phone.
• Newsletter — your email address, if you choose to subscribe.
• Technical data — IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by our web server as part of normal operation and security logging.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To prepare your quotation — matching your enquiry to pricing and stock, and getting back to you. Basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
• To manage your account and let you view past enquiries. Basis: performance of a contract.
• To answer enquiries and prepare quotations. Basis: our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
• To meet legal duties — tax, VAT and accounting records. Basis: legal obligation.
• To send you our newsletter. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.
• To keep the site secure and prevent fraud or abuse. Basis: legitimate interest.

Cookies

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where it is needed to run the business:

• Our web hosting and email service providers, who store the data on our behalf.

Where your data is held

Your data is stored on servers used to host this website and our email. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we rely on the safeguards permitted under the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

• Enquiry and quotation records — for as long as Maltese tax and company law requires us to retain them.
• Account data — while your account is open. Ask us to close it and we will delete or anonymise what we are not legally required to keep.
• Enquiries and quotations — for as long as needed to deal with the request and for a reasonable period afterwards.
• Newsletter — until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• ask us to erase data we no longer need;
• object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing;
• receive your data in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, where we relied on consent.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Maltese supervisory authority, the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), at idpc.org.mt.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and access to enquiry and customer records is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Children

This website is intended for business and adult customers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
